The new insurance group Lucida today announced two key appointments to its senior team.
Simon Pearce has joined the team as Chief Executive Officer of the Broking Division and Insiyah Davenport is Lucida’s new Group Chief Risk Officer. Lucida brings together thriving UK broking businesses including Bennetts Motorcycling, Moorhouse Group and Right Choice Insurance Brokers.
Simon Pearce is responsible for leading and growing Lucida’s distribution business, focusing on the organic growth of its existing lines, developing new ones not currently served within the Group and identifying and delivering new acquisitions. He has a wealth of experience in insurance, having held various leadership roles over the past two decades, most recently at Gallagher and previously with the Giles Group of Companies and Brightside Group. Simon has also served on the International Brokers Advisory Board at BIBA and as a board member of Polaris.
Insiyah Davenport has oversight of regulatory, compliance risk management and governance at the Lucida Group. Insi has more than 20 years' experience in the insurance industry, specialising in risk and compliance. She has held senior risk and compliance roles in large and small insurance companies including HSBC Insurance Brokers, Barbon, HWF Partners and the Ardonagh Group.
