We took out the Volkswagen Transporter Bluemotion on a test drive to run a couple of tests on its Bluemotion technology. We drove the van around the city for 10 miles and on the motorway for 10 miles and looked at the different Miles Per Gallon compared to the normal Transporter average.
Bluemotion technology features advanced technical tweaks to help improve fuel efficiency. The Transporter Bluemotion features: Start/Stop technology, low rolling resistance tyres, cruise control and energy recuperation which all help towards reducing fuel consumption.
