Emma’s Diary, an online resource for mums to be from the Royal College of GPs has signed a contract with ConstructaQuote’s sister firm, Moorlife, to provide life protection products to the Diary’s 650,000 members.
‘It’s great to partner with a resource like Emma’s Diary which provides all the advice mothers need through pregnancy and how to give their children the best start in life,’ said Lyndon Wood, chairman and Chief Executive of Constructaquote and Moorlife.
‘It is great to be able to create employment given the troubled UK jobs market at the moment. Winning the Emma’s Diary contract means we are now in an ideal position to scale the Moorlife the business further.”
The deal will create 26 new jobs at Moorlife, adding to the current staff of 19 based at its headquarters in Caerphilly. The new arrangement will take effect from January 2012 and has been driven by demand from Emma’s Diary customers for life insurance products.
