4P’s of an Entrepreneur
An entrepreneur can be defined as a person who organises and manages a business undertaking, assuming the risk for the sake of the profit.
A successful entrepreneur must have the right characteristics and stance. Most can be learned through practice. A successful businessperson must develop a winning attitude and be social on a level that can only be beneficial. Remember, in some instances, it’s not what you know it’s who.
1. Poise - An entrepreneur needs to have self-confidence and composure. He/she needs to be willing to accept changes and be eager to take on challenges and risks.
2. Patience - Entrepreneurs should know that all good things come to those who wait. Most professionals will know that their business/profits will not just develop overnight.
3. Positivity - Successful entrepreneurs are always optimistic. It is important that they are able to see the light side of any situation in order to be able to be prosperous.
4. Passion - An entrepreneur is passionate about success and winning. He/she is competitive by nature and will do whatever it takes to succeed and remain on-top at all times.
These are just a few key characteristics an entrepreneur should possess. An entrepreneur can often develop or improve some traits but some he/she can only be born with. You can be blessed with all the characteristics in the world but without discipline, they are useless.
